Russ grew up in the Trinity Moravian congregation in Winston-Salem, graduated from Appalachian State University and received the Master of Divinity degree from Moravian Theological Seminary.  He was ordained a Deacon in 2010 and consecrated a Presbyter in 2015.   He has served the Moravia congregation in Oak Ridge, NC, and the Union Cross congregation in Winston-Salem.

 

In addition to congregational ministry, Rev. Williams, has been active in the Moravian Ministry Association, the 2014 Synod Planning Committee, and the summer programs at Laurel Ridge Camp and Conference Center.
