The Moravian Church is a protestant denomination that traces its roots back to Czechoslovakia in the mid-1400s. The first America settlements were formed in the mid-1700s in Bethlehem, PA and Winston-Salem, NC. Because of the church’s strong role in the modern-day mission movement, Moravian communities can be found all over the world. The base of our faith is the concept of the trinity – God as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. While our congregation embraces the Moravian musical heritage and traditional love feast celebrations, our members are a modern day group of Christians of all ages.
The New Beginnings Mission: “Building a community guided by the Holy Scriptures, preparing it to reach out in word and deed, with faith, joy and compassion, spreading the message of hope through Jesus Christ while celebrating God’s everlasting love and grace.”
